Accessibility statement

Accessibility is the reason Low Vision Gamers exists. This site and our games are made for people with low vision first.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and level AAA wherever we can. In particular:

  • All text has very strong contrast (at least 7 to 1) in every colour theme.
  • You can choose four text sizes and five colour themes, and the site remembers them.
  • Pages still work when zoomed to 400%, without scrolling sideways.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a thick focus outline that's easy to see.
  • Buttons and links are at least 48 pixels tall, so they're easy to tap.
  • Links are underlined and say where they go.
  • Images have descriptions, and videos will have captions.
  • Nothing flashes, and motion stops if your device asks for less motion.

How we test

We check every page with automated tools at every text size and colour theme, in English and French. We also test with VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, TalkBack on Android, and with people who have low vision, starting with Daniel himself.

What isn't perfect yet

This site is new. If something is hard to see, read or use, it's a bug, and we want to fix it.

Tell us about a problem

Write to hello@lowvisiongamers.com or use our contact form. Tell us which page, what you were trying to do, and the device you use if you can. We reply within a few days.
